Penn and Teller did a segment on the Self Defense Company - I like their stuff, I feel it compliments my traditional Chinese arts background and military training. The language is a bit NSFW, so be forewarned.

I saw that on Penn and Teller, but to be honest the really thick marketing kind of turns me off. IMAO the RBSD guys are just as guilty of slinging bull in some cases as the guy who wants to teach your Chi to deflect bullets....
Marketing seems to be driven by a sort of Gresham's Law - thick marketing drives out saner stuff. So I am no longer automatically repelled by hype-type marketing, since I've discovered actually good things buried behind a wall of BS.

Priest - marketing is marketing - I haven't the desire go down that road, so my stuff stays low key, under the radar. And what do you mean, my Chi is no good for bullet deflection? I must practice harder...
Unknown - I do the same. I like some of Scott Sonon's TacFit, but need to really look at what is offered (discern the wheat from the chaff). I'll look at the TFT link again, thanks for the catch.
